Happy birthday Singapore!
Wanted to catch this year's national day parade on TV but went to NTUC with mum then continued doing work when i got home. So i only managed to catch Electrico's performance and the pledge taking thingy. Wonder if many Singaporeans really recited the pledge as a nation at 8.22 pm or somethin lol, but i definitely didnt :P
So the past week was sorta packed not with tests, maybe a little bit because of homework but definitely because of EOM ): Boo to PW, an even bigger boo to SA who started the subject if im not wrong.
Lets make a lil recap of near the end of the week. thursday my class celebrated the july/august babies birthdays and duh im one of them. So they got these candles which couldnt be blown out because of some physics behind it. Apparently once you blow out the candles, the sudden decrease in temperature (i suppose) caused the wire thingy in the candle to release a spark which lit the candle again. So since i didnt know, i kept blowing like some retard until my classmate like nudged me and told me, then i took out the candle from the mini mousse they had for each of us and stepped on it >( best way to remove fire is to remove oxygen!
So friday was my birthday woo >) But first, national day was really dumb la. only half my class came, the other half snoozing at home being the smarter one. If i didnt have the guitar J2 farewell thingy, or ORD if you wanna call it, i really wouldnt have gone to school. I rather wake up at the same time and head over to nanhua la. So we were given like 3 hours to make a dumb hamper. I spent like most of the time playing my friend's ipoddy. Then, of course we have the community singing thing which every school does. Know whats the best thing? We sang like so many songs, except this year's one. How amazing -.- then finally when we were dismissed i was sooooo happy that the terror was over. So it was guitar farewell, was so slack lol.During the meal time i was playing basketball while the rest of the J1s set up and prepare for the next activity. Then it ended at 4-5, was supposed the meet keelun but then it was too late, so i told him i'll meet him some other time.
So went for dinner at IMM with 404+cherngyew. was 1 hour late but i had reasons ok,but anyway chowler wasnt there yet anyway, so i wasnt the latest :) chatted with yonglak and meichia while waiting at the taxi stand for chowler and was kinda funny, discussing stuff like how fat chowler is now and more. Then when the zara shirt-clad guy stepped out from the cab they said he was buff. lol booo maybe i should train too,but im really too lazy to work out, last time i went gym cos i wanted to get silver for napfa, then somehow i got gold LOL. First time in like, ever. So anyway since the rest had eaten their full at ajisen already, yonglak chowz kjw and i headed to subway to get something fairly cheaper. Then as usual went over to the open-space area at the top to chill. Sang birthday song and cut-ed birthday cake, together with my fellow august-ian classmate kashin.
So as the rest took photos and interacted with one another, i was busy keeping myself away from being soiled by the chocolate cake on any part of my body.Slowly, our classmates shunpoed home as usual leaving only the few of us hanging around till 9, then yonglak kjw chowler sally and i decided to go pool at bukit timah.
So this kickstarts a new chapter of 'The many taxis' lol. At first we got into the taxi with 5 people, but after moving like 10m the uncle realised there're 5 people and insisted that we alight. Then we got rejected by many 4 seater taxis. So we decided to go for those big ones. The first time some couple ksed our large taxi, the second time we were too engrossed in conversation we let a taxi whiz past us ._. Then we finally got hailed for a bigger taxi, but apparently they charge $8 more for the 5th person.Bo hua lor. So decided to chill out at mac's instead. Sat down and chit chatted then left for home around 11.30. we were like playing at the escalator, cos it seemed kinda funny when you let yourself get lifted by the escalator when youre not on the escalator but on the 'outside' of the escalator lol.
So impromptu decision to head over to NJ to play tennis on saturday morning, partly because i wanna work those lazy muscles of mine since i havent been exercising much lately. Ran merely 2 continuous laps around the track with the sprint-jog-sprint-jog technique and i was about to collaspe already. Oh no, where did my 1 year ago 9min 46sec 2.4 timing go T.T So after resting a while then i continued on with another 2 laps. So was tennis. Me being a tennis noob since i've never played before got wooped by our fellow captain koh and his friend. Played from 8-12, bathed and chilled out in the empty canteen. And of all people guess who came just before we left! Jiahao came popping by from across the canteen, apparently he was back for council stuff. Then he brought some spraypaint for some painting thingy then we started playing around with it.NJ had some corner that was meant for all this doodling and needless to say, i left my mark in the NJ compounds :P oh ya, and we outsmarted the drink machine in some very old school bad boy method and i managed to get my 100 plus at 60c lol. Take that autobots and decepticons! So we played with spraypaint for like 2 hours, left around 2, headed over to golden rooster for lunch. Left for home and bathed again, saw some friends downstairs at the basketball court and went down to play, came home and bathed again lol. Now my whole arm is still aching from tennis 'training' lol.
Tennis's so fun, i wanna play again :D So that pretty much sums up the week, with the main events happening like only on the later part of the week. Next week's MSA 2, and i have test on tuesday,wednesday,thursday,friday.Wait, thats the whole week! and then i have chem test on the following monday. boooo. Recce on saturday, and night cycling probably on friday night, wonder if i can tahan or not o.o
*edit* man, how is it that it seems like only SA is having the second round of tests after the common tests ._.
