After 3 weeks, its all over.

I must say the 3 weeks have really been filled with ups and downs, and well the cibtc isnt as tough and all as you think after you go through the course and do some reflection. In fact, it has been almost entirely filled with fun, because of the crazy squadmates and funny ATC group mates.

I went for the 4d3n ATC last monday to thursday and it was rather a different experience as compared to the normal ATC in sec2 and sec3. Its like i got to go to the highest point on pulau ubin to see the scenery after climbing 74m without any proper roads or tracks. Maybe can show you guys that place some day cos its like damn cool. Rations have also been upgraded, maybe because i was a CIT or maybe even the cadet rations have been changed. There are like 4 different menus to choose from, and each menu has like damn awesome food as compared to my time's canned food and stuff. There was like black sesame glutinous rice, chicken pasta, honey barley dessert, burmese curry chicken noodle. Like woah, now even the new generation gets better ration food. Then the last day was rather slack, cos they wanted to celebrate the end of course and stuff.

2 days after i came back from ubin was investiture, which was yesterday. Reported at 10 and had dry runs until around 3, of course inclusive of lunch. Then it was squad sharing/preparing of uniform and then at 5.45 the investiture started. Pretty cool cos its like MY first investiture. After the cert taking and the npcc pledge taking, of course it was wild photo taking session, but i didnt take as much as during grad night la, just take some that are enough to remember my squadmates and my ATC groupmates. Wont bother to upload the rest of the pics, too lazy to anyway. Was dismissed at 10, apparently i have some squadmates who stay at tampines/pasir ris. Good luck to them man.

On a side note, i received my corparate tee and my CI polo too. What really pisses me off is that only my squad has a shortage of shirts and the rest of the batch Alpha and Bravo squads have sufficient shirts. So i only have one of the CI polo >:0 then my corporate tee is like different from other people one, cos its NPCC's 50th anniversary, then got this big big '50' pattern thingy on it. Not sure whether its nice or ugly, but its not like i have a choice anyway ):

School reopens tomorrow and the common tests are starting. Luckily, i dont take bio so i have one more day to study. Hopefully it'll be of use.

oh yeah i nearly forgot, i wanna thank mr chew for being a really really really awesome TO. At first he was coming to my investiture to help me put on my rank, but then because mrs lee didnt manage to submit the officers attendance list in time, he couldnt attend and i didnt have any extra tickets for guests other than officers. Furthermore mr chew needed to draw the no.5T uniform from hta to attend the investiture as an officer and he only managaed to find out about this on friday. So mr chew actually offered to meet up after the investiture to honour my rank and all, which well really shows how much he cares man. Mr chew ftw!!! Sadly, hes gonna leave this year D: or at least i think so.

Wooo i cant believe that my RC2 is over. Its been 9 days of training since last week, and wowzers its really been an experience.

tough as it is, i really learnt a lot man. Not just the hard skills, but more to the soft skills part. Like it trains my interaction skills, from my mini antisocial character to like interactive leader :D. Really la, the course was tough, but i cant elaborate everything, cos its really too many stuffs already. Its 9 days of training mind you, and each day when i wake up its different.

Sure, waking up at 4.25 to polish boots everyday and sleeping at 11 every night may sound seemingly insane, but it just takes time to get used to it. Independent living is kinda interesting you know, maybe some of y'all should try it someday.

Maybe i'll talk about it more afte my common tests if i can still remember, cos i really cant find time to do long long posts like before when i was still in secondary school ):

Ah, nanhua. Hopefully i'll get posted back into nanhua, really scared cos this time its going to be a new sorting system for the posting of CIs to schools. Ah well, hope that the heavens are watching over me and stop playing tricks on me >.<

4 MORE DAYS OF ATC LETS GOGOGOGOGOGOGGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO although it'll definitely be tough, as always :X

Ah, miss those days.

The picture was taken last year, and boy its more than 1 year old already. I remember it was taken on our last parade. Made a lot of effort to call back every single one of my squadmates just to get them back for a perfect finish to my npcc life as an NCO, or cadet leader as they call it now.Like check it out man, theres like 30+ people in the photo man, and my squad's strength is like always less than 20. Our last parade was also a mini amazing race, and i only attended the parade after it started as i had some lessons if i remember correctly.

Good times aside, im leaving for cibtc on wednesday. Not exactly leaving, but i'll be so busy that it'll be as if im overseas. Feel free to call me up at night around 10, would be more than happy to entertain calls lol, at least it keeps me moving on in the ardours course. I really made effort in preparing all the stuffz man, hopefull the CIIs would be able to see that i made an effort doing so -.- Most of the times the CIIs are really damn jiao, but im sure its just their duties that covers up their true selves. They're just teens like us man, just that higher rank :(

So i'll be back on saturday night, anyone wanna have dinner? lol. I realised im starting to sound damn despo for interaction with the world outside the course. Ah i cant believed im actually scared man, i mean i've never really been scared of most stuffs, like seriously scared lol. Like check out how much i enjoyed sec3 ATC 2 years ago. Ok, inside joke, but this is serious manzxz. D:

On a sidenote, promo test was on saturday. Read some of my juniors blog, found their posts all damn cute lol. Like going to fail this going to fail that. Back in my days i was like HAHA HOW TO FAIL ONE. ok maybe i was too cocky back then but normally i wont worry about all these until muster parade comes, where my heart really pumps. I know how it feels like to be on the parade square, anxiously anticipating for your name to be called. Been there, done that.

If theres too much NP stuff for you to handle, its perhaps its because im trying to find the reason why im going for the course. The other day during uniform collection the CII said it'll help but apparently its not ):

Lalalala, i didnt do many things that i actually planned for the holidays. sighz :O

Its said 'No one is here by chance', or at least thats what they drill into us.

But i found this quote on the internet, 'In this world nothing occures by chance, there only exist inevitability'.

Which applies to you?

Uniform Collection is over!

Like phew man, i was totally totally anticipating myself to face lotsa scoldings, but wala, i made out of HTA alive. It wasnt as hiong as nich and ying's time though, where i recall nich was telling me how he got scolded for counting the corporate tee and stuff for whatever reason. So yeah, it wasnt as jialat as i thought it would be, but perhaps its just a warm up.

I reached the everest room LATE, which is one of the last things you wanna do during CIBTC, then we got scolded for not reading the instructions on the board then blah blah blah. Lecture on uniform ettiquette and then finally went on to collect uniforms. I was saved from the new set of square buttons but i wasnt spared from the new badge thingy on the picap. I got the npcc one instead of the old Singapore crest one, which sucks ): and i got a feeling after i graduate from the course my CI RANK would have the NPCC word at the edge, so cadet like.argh.

So collected uniform and stuff then went on to lecture on the course. So i got my dates, 10-13 would be my first residential course, next would be 15-19, then 22-25 would be ATC and the 27th would be the investiture. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY. First time i'll be taking part in an investiture, always see council and student leaders investiture and never really got to take part in one ):For the rest of the days, feel free to jio me out, anyone, and if im not weighed down by lesson plans and stuff or my tiredness i''ll try my best to hangout with y'all.

After that was dismissal, it felt really weird being in a squad and doing all the drills in a squad after 6 months. And i gotta admit, i wasnt qutie used to being scolded and all by superiors after such a loooong time man. But its a fresh start, starting from zero all over again.Hopefully, risking my common tests would be worth it.Somehow.

So mini day 1, is over, if i just add up all the days from the 10th to the 27th, i've got 18 more days to go. If you people thought it was 17th, you should go revise on your summation of series where the number of terms would usually be (n+1) teehee.Anyway, theres this CII who really really really looks like joanna.like REALLY. no kidding man. maybe thats her in the future, like who knows, right? hohoho.
