3rd day of camp!!
woke up at 6.15 to get ready for some photo shoot thingy of the sec3 adventure camp. took us like 40 mins plus just to get everyone in the picture. then as the cultural and outdoor group cleared, the leardership people took one and all the NCC guys all squeezed together at the center lol.
so off to water rafting! yesh my 1337 knots skillz came in handy. so even though i gotr luan diao about he cross hitch cos its a bit different cos you start with a running knot, i still managed to tie it :D so the groups were seperated to a and b where L1-4 was a and L5-6 was b. the rule was that the whole team b had to set off together and the whole team a also had to set off together.in the end, the whole team b didnt set off at all and i go my shoes went for no reason >_>. gaaa dam sand. then john was like very hot cos his group havent tie finish then he was like :walao you all got free manpower come help us la! something like that la cant really remember.
so after that from around 12.50 to 2.15pm we were given time to wash up, eat lunch and pack up our luggage from the tents. i chionged to to the toilet from the beach cos my shoes were like full of sand and its real pain to walk with sand in your shoes. walked past the outdorr/cultural group who seemed to be enjoying themselves in the obstacle courses lol.so after eating lunch i practically had nothing to do cos i had already packed all my stuff when i woke up in the morning. so lazed around outside the horseshoe. then chaohsien was like going around asking for some bandages or some sort. at that time me,john and kelvin were like talking to andrew the instructor then he walked past us ask us where JT was. then andrew say why leh then chaohsien asy he injure his leg. then andrew like very zao ji then ask chaohsien where he injured then chao showed him the small cut at his ankle. then andrew was like wtf in his mind i guess cos he say chao small scratch already like that. then he say he leg got alot of scratch also nvm >_>
so after all this was telematch. did the hulahoop passing thingy and the other thing which requires everyone to 'wear' this piece of wood and everyone has to take the same step at the right and same time. actuallythe hula hoop thing started and my group was leading la then they go restart and we got 2nd. gaaa then the walking on the wooden thingy, nicholas group became from first to last XD. at first they were leading like shitz then dono what happen their group became last rofl. my group cam in 2nd again. anyway our telematches were cut off halfway and so we set off for everly hotel.
was a long and sleepy ride and like the whole time everyone was asleep. so we made a mini pitstop before the hotel and stopped at a temple. the temple was pretty cool with a big well dug somewhat a bit outside the temple but still in the temple premises. so after that we headed for tan kim hock local product outlet to buy stuff. ok basically to buy things to partayee in the night in the hotel. alot of people bought the nicenice durian chendol including me but i shared with zhaoming cos he said he didnt like chendol but wanted to try some. so after that me shaoan, kelvin and followed on joined by junwee, we walked around the outlet trying to firgure out how the hell do those people stack their products so high. furthermore some products are placed so high beyong anyones reach >_>. so after that went to some shopping centre. bought shaker fries for around SGD$1.60 rofl. freaking cheap. i paid with RM3.36. and their macdonals count every single cent and i gave them RM3.50 they gave me back RM14c >_>. dammit every cent counts lol. so after walking around with yonglat,kelvin tay and junwee we went on to the giant at the basement. i was like looking around for the orge-sized m&ms cos i tried some of john's on the way to eagle ranch and they were dam nice. so i bought 2 packets plus 1 medium sized packet of pringles for RM5.70. as again the stuff there are uber cheap man. and yea the pringles come in packets not tubes. mind you the pringles there only RM99c. so slacked abit in the departmental store which was just aroudn our meeting point. regretted doing so cos i could have walked around to find some cool store which sells some good quality dog tags D:. was looking out for them but lazy me just slacked.
so we headed off to the first ever restaurant we'll be going in malacca and that was the serion restaurant, which was a peranakan one. dammit everyone hates the mango-curry-prawns and i dont know why. and they serve this kind of freaking big otahs which i think they mashed up those mini otahs from the supermart and form one big one.anyway everyone PRAWN SHELL CAN BE EATEN. ITS NOT SICK (: i dono why everyone hates prawn shells too ):. and we had some chendol for dessert. very nice, very very nice (: but kenny didnt like the fact that john mixed the chendol >_>. as in sort of stir la.
then again we set off for EVERYLY HOTEL. THE LUXURY OF THE CAMP. dam nice place. furthermoe i was like telling junwee in the bus that the place must be a lousy place cos watercity resort hotel which we were supposed to go closed down and the school uses 'upgraded' for an excuse lol. but i was wrongwrongwrong. so after a mini debriefing, we check in to my room 656.
walked a dam long way to the room cos we took a room to the extreme left of the building but our room was at the extreme right. when i first stepped in i was like wtf. i thought i stepped in to a 4 room flat lol.5 beds,2rooms,a kitchen,living room,balcony, and tv with international channels, 2 toilets,2 bathtubs, AIRCONDITIONED FOR 24 HOURS. omg this is life man. so me and junwee took the room with toilet, whereas leonquek,bryan took the other room and zhaoming was left to sleep at the living room which had another bed. shortly after we were joined by barry and he decided to stay in our room for the rest of the camp.
so we started off playing daidi before JT and the rest of the group came in to our room to do reflection plus NYAA at 10.10. JT was late cos he went to bathe >_>. yes im daidi king! i pwn. i improved so much that i could actually not lose XD. last time i lost in almost every game. so did reflection and all those, i went to bathe and i realised i dono how to switch the water flowing in the bathtub tab to the water flowing to the showerhead. so after spending a shit laod of time trying to figure it out i just used the bathtub =.=. played more daidi, watched NBA featured game on espn then we were like watching the james bond die another day and we thought the show had finished but it was just the interlude >_>. after that, ate my smarties and went to sleep at around 1.50am.
